I launched a landing page for an idea I've been working* on for a while (www.instantpython.com). The app is an easy hosting interface for python code (I have a janky prototype so far). I wanted some validation to see if it is worth pursuing further and I wanted somewhat quick results so I have launched a google ad words campaign. I was wondering if anyone has any advice for what success would look like here? Since yesterday I have over 100 impressions, 5 clicks and one email in my form. Average CPC £2.43. The old model of who can code is no longer valid, as almost anyone can now build an MVP using Replit or Claude Code. It appears that the power dynamic between the old model of technical founders doing 50% of the building and maintenance and nontechnical founders doing everything has changed fundamentally. | | If a nontechnical founder can now build a working app, get users, ship, and sell, the model is broken. I'm sure there's lots more to it, but that part scares me quite a bit. Do you have any recommendations for founders that prefer not to do video calls, or in scenarios where their product pricing does not make it worth the time to do individual calls?
