Good morning, Internet!

This morning, I am considering potential cybersecurity-related startup ideas. Why? The french gov gets hacked every week or so currently, and it seems like a hot topic.

Fun fact: I found a major vulnerability in a US company called Prospector Portal that I still did not report to them (because I'm not sure how to proceed).

There are tons of software in pentesting, but probably not done with the greatest sense of taste. There may be optimizations, better experience, ... But to ensure it is really the case, I need to start interviewing pentesters, and understand their workflow, and the tools they use.

This guy, John McAfee, became a billionaire evolving in the space. And Cloudflare initially started as a security-focused company.

Good night, Internet!

I am considering starting (again) a Reddit-like platform, called Hypercafe, targetting french audience first.

A common joke on the Internet is to make fun of people wanting to start a social media. I think the problem has to be reframed. Starting a "traditional" media, or a "social" media: what is harder? I don't even think it's harder to start a social media rather than a traditional media. Both are extremely hard. But social medias are more likely to be gigantic hits. Sarcastic ppl do not make fun of individual desiring to start traditional medias though. Funny, right?
